Judgement and Promotion of Modship:
How to Lose Points and Mod Powers:
Levels of Modship and their Rights, Duties, and Powers:
- Spoiler:
- Once made a moderator, a point system will be put in place to keep track of how well you are performing. You will be given 10 points to begin with and dropping to 0 will result in the loss of moderating powers. Points will be kept secret and can only be given out when a moderator asks for their points.
You will earn 5 points per level of punishable behavior contained within a report. It's possible for screenshots to contain multiple offenses and points will be given per offense made. *Multiple reports of the same offense may be sent it by multiple moderators and that's okay, everyone will get the same amount of credit no matter what time the report was sent. This isn't meant to be a race.
*Applies to Chao Island-based reports sent by those of the Rainbow Moderators rank only.
Ascending to 180 points will result in promotion to the Rainbow Elite rank, 360 points will result in Mana Force member status. However, it is possible to descend from ranks.
How to Lose Points and Mod Powers:
- Spoiler:
- If you fail to make at least one report within a week, you will lose 1/10 of your points per empty week, 1/5 of your points per week after a month, and then finally loss of powers after 3 months if your points still haven't depleted to 0 points after previous reductions.
If you break a rule that results in less than a 3 month warning, you will lose 1/4 of your points, if given a 3 month warning or accumulate up to three months of unexpired warnings you will lose half of your points, gaining a larger warning or accumulating beyond 3 months of unexpired warnings will result in the loss of powers.
If powers are lost due to rule breaking, you will be restricted from applying for modship for 9 months. If lack of reports is the reason, you will be restricted from applying for modship for 3 months. However, if you do resubmit applications, this does not guarantee power return.
Levels of Modship and their Rights, Duties, and Powers:
- Spoiler:
- Level 1: The Rainbow Moderators
This is what everyone will start out as upon having their essay approved by myself along with the rest of the Mana Force. On Chao Island, Rainbow Moderators take screenshots of behavior that appears/does break the rules made my Rainbow Force members. These screenshots are to be sent to either me or any other Mana Force member through private messaging on Chao Island for us to evaluate take action if needed. Along with screenshots, you are to say what rules the offender is breaking. Each private message containing questionable behavior is called a report. Reports that contain punishable behavior is then recorded by whatever Mana Force member that received the report for our archives and tracking reasons. Despite having no power to punish users on Chao Island, the Rainbow Force forum is a different case. You have the ability to moderate within the allowed boards that you can see from the first page.
- Spoiler:
- Level 2 Moderators: The Rainbow Elites
Upon ascending to the Rainbow Elite rank, you won't need to send Mana Force members reports for you will be given the power to deal out punishments up to level 2 offenses. Level 3 offenses are to be reported to Mana Force members to take care of. But, you must record every crime that you take care of with a screenshot, crimes stated, and the punishment given in the "Reports" section of the Moderator boards on this forum.
- Spoiler:
- Level 3 Moderators: The Mana Force
Be aware though that upper staff members can override the decisions of the lower staff if they disagree with their actions. As a Mana Force member you can deal out punishments on all levels of offenses and have reports sent to you. Like with the lower staff however, everything you do must be recorded.
